ABAN in partnership with the Lagos Angels Network (LAN) is proud to present the first of a series of Angel Investor Bootcamps on Friday July 31 2015 during the Lagos Startup Week.
This event is part of a series of Angel Investor Bootcamps taking place across the continent to help mobilize the early stage investing community. Theme for the series is ‘Unlocking capital for early stage innovation’ and lessons learned will feed into the program for the 2nd Annual Angel Investor Summit scheduled for September 23rd as part of DEMO Africa 2015. The Bootcamps are organized with the support of the US State Department, VC4Africa and the LIONS Africa Partnership.

The program on Friday July 31st will consist of a master-class, expert sessions and in-depth case studies. The master-class will be conducted by world-renowned investor Candace Johnson, the president of EBAN, the pan-European representative for the early stage investor community. EBAN combines 150 angel networks from 50 countries and directly and indirectly represents 20.000 angel investors. The expert sessions will bring together investors from the Lagos Angels Network as well as other seasoned investors. Participating investors will also have an opportunity to join the pitch sessions of the SEEDSTARSWORLD event and listen to 10-12 of the best early stage startups from across Nigeria.

The intended audience is new aspiring investors who want to learn how to invest as well as seasoned, experienced who look to engage with peers. For all practical information and to register please visit the ABAN website.
