Apple’s Developer Conference Confirmed For June 2nd with The Possible Debut of iOS 8

For some time now Apple fans and technology stakeholders have been hearing rumors about the Apple’s iPhone phablets and various “iWatch” rumors. But all of that can now be put to rest as Apple confirms the date for its World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place on June 2, 2014 in Moscone West, San Franciso.

The WWDC event is meant to bring together app developers and programmers as well as acting as a platform for Apple to showcase their various tweaks, innovations and improvements made on its devices and the operating system. So far Apple has steered clear of confirming any rumors about what will take place and what will not take place at the event other than the 2014’s WWDC will place emphasis on the future development of the iOS and the OS X.

For those who have been avid followers of the WWDC event, you know that the iOS 7 was launched by Apple during last year’s WWDC event, and the iOS 6 at 2012’s WWDC. So if precedence is anything to go by, most people are expecting the iOS 8 to be launched at the 2014’s WWDC event, on June 2, 2014. There are other reports that say that the iPhone 6 is set to be under limited production next month, May. It could possibly have the official debut at the 2014’s WWDC event on June 2^nd.

Considering the fact that Apple launched its iPhone 5s last year September, if we anticipate Apple to indeed launche a new hardware, we could assume it would be the almost-mythical “iWatch”: Apple’s first wearable technology. Apple’s psycho fan are also passing around another rumor that the new hardware that would be launched at the event would be a completely overhauled Apple TV set-top box, but that seems too far fetch, or isn’t it?
