Applications To The Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2015 Now Open
Starting February 17th, the GIST Tech-I Competition, opened its doors to applications from innovators and inventors tacking challenges in agriculture, environment, conservation, water, energy, ICT and health among other fields. The GIST Tech-I Competition is an annual competition that features inventions and innovations from scientists and tech-preneurs from the emerging world economies. Contestants can submit their ideas and startups online.
The program is a U.S. Department of State project and is being implemented by the GIST Tech-I 2015 and the AAAS. Successful applicants will be given a chance to pitch their inventions and innovation at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
They will also get an opportunity to be given intensive training while the winners will walk away with mini-grants and a one-on-one mentorship and training opportunity from world-class entrepreneurs. The application deadline is March 20, 2015.
