Fans of video games wait a lot for the upcoming games. Just like 2019 is loaded with a great collection of games, there is a plenty to look forward to in 2020. These games are going to be spectacular, since there are multi-year development cycles, common in the video game industry. Games are hard to make, and creating a great game takes a lot of time. In this article, we discuss best video games coming in 2020 along with their release dates. It should be noted that the release dates are tentative, and they might change.

Death stranding

By this time, Hideo Kojima has intentionally started hiding secret codes in Death Stranding’s trailers. He is using an amazing way to keep the hype alive by teasing the game’s fanbase while development is in process. This video game is going to release in early 2020. When Kojima was asked about the release, he said, “Before the Tokyo Olympic Games” which hinted at an early 2020 launch.

 

Beyond Good & Evil 2

This video game, created by Michel Ancel, is a prequel and features an open world and custom-made characters. It will allow players to explore various planets. Fans of ‘Beyond Good & Evil’ are following-up for ages. According to Ubisoft, this video game is hoping to get a beta version ready for the fans by the end of 2019. This means that the full game will not be ready for consumption till early 2020. It results in assuming that Ancel’s team hits all of their deadlines.

 

System Shock

This video game is cult classic sci-fi thriller that is long overdue for a remake, but it seems to release in early 2020. The remake of System Shock is in the process of completion with improved and better graphics and implementing new featurees. A small featurette of this game was just released, showing off the game’s final look.

 

Skulls & Bones

Skulls & Bones is a video game developed by Ubisoft Singapore, expected to release sometime after March 2020. This video game revolves around piracy and naval warfare. It’s a tactical action game that is set in an open-world environment. Players control a customizable pirate captain and may choose to sail the Indian Ocean by themselves and set off on a single-player campaign. Players may gather up to 5 other players to ally in disputed waters.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

Bloodlines has become a cult favorite among RPG fans over the past 15 years, making a sequel an easy proposition. It is developed by Hardsuit Labs. The game follows a story of a human in 21st-century Seattle, who is killed and subsequently revived as a fledging vampire with comparatively weak vampiric abilities. This video game is set just after an event called the Mass Embrace, during which Seattle’s vamps bit a whole bunch of people and created a horde of so-called Thin-Bloods.
