College Students; Apply Now For Google’s 2016 Summer Internship Programs

Interested in working for Google during summer 2016? Below is the information and links for Google’s 2016 internship offerings:

ICT has completely transformed the world as we knew it, and haven’t we come a long way? From the caveman’s days of sending messages via smoke signals and drums. To now, clicking a button or swiping at a touchscreen. These days, it is even possible to live halfway around the world, employed on another continent, and study on a completely different continent. However, sometimes such a student might find themselves juggling too much with little to no time for everything they need to accomplish. That aside, if you’re looking to be part of Google – the world’s biggest search engine and a tech revolution company – this article is dropping all the gems on how to go about that. They are as follows:

Business Programs

BOLD Immersion

The Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development (BOLD) Immersion is a program that is giving students an opportunity to engage with other great minds, cutting-edge technology and smart business community.

Who: students enrolled in a 4-year BA/BS program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2017 to June 2018.

What: a 3-day program designed to give students the opportunity to explore business roles at Google, the culture of lifelong learning at Google and prepare them for the internship and full-time application process. You can apply at this link.

BOLD Internship

Who: students enrolled in a 4-year BA/BS program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2016 to June 2017.

What: an 11-12 week internship program that introduces students to the business side of Google. This program is designed to provide exposure into the technology industry for students who are historically under-represented in this field.

Graduate Internship

Who: students enrolled in a full-time MBA program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2016 or June 2017. Students with authorization to work within the United States or Canada or who are attending a US-based school are eligible to apply.

What: an 11-12 week summer experience allows graduate interns to be challenged and make an impact while be fully immersed in Google’s culture.

Google Student Veteran Summit (GSVS)

Who: Student veterans pursuing an MBA. Candidates must be entering year one of a United States Business school in Fall 2017.

What: a three-day seminar with a professional development curriculum designed to help veterans brush up their business skills and ensure a smooth transition to the civilian workplace.

Tech Programs:

SWE (Software Engineer/SETI/SRE) Internship

Who: students enrolled in a full-time BS/MS/PhD Computer Science program (or related field) with plans to continue in their studies after the end of the internship.

What: a 12-14 week summer experience allows interns to work on challenging engineering projects which will enhance their technical skills and provide them with real world knowledge and experience.

Engineering Practicum Internship

Who: students enrolled in a 4 year BA/BS program with an anticipated graduation date of April 2018 to August 2019.

What: a 12 week development internship program for first and second-year undergraduate students with a passion for technology – especially students from historically underrepresented groups in the field.
