Download and install GIF Brewery from Mac app store.
After installation, just click the “open” option from the “File” menu and select the video which you want to convert to GIF.
After video selection, a new window will be opened. Just select the starting and end point and trim the section you don’t want in your GIF.
There is also a resize and crop button. Use this button to change the size of the video canvas so that the GIF could be created at an appropriate size. The best way is to decrease the size as much as you can because the file size affects the quality of the GIF file.
From the top right corner, you can select the GIF properties such as frame rates, loop, refresh rate, size, color and resolution. These metrics play a key role in the quality of your GIF.
