The Cupertino company has announced the date this year’s developer conference. For 2017, the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (Apple WWDC 2017) will be held on June 5th in San Jose. The announcement of the dates of the Apple WWDC 2017 was made yesterday.

This year’s WWDC will be the 28th of such conference to be held by Apple since its inception. The venue will be at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose; which will be hosting the event for the second time in 15 years when it was last held at the venue.Dates for Apple Developer Conference announced | Apple WWDC 2017 June 5 in San Jose

FYI, San Jose was the original venue for all the WWDC events since 1988 to 2002, before Apple decided to start changing venue each year.

How to register for Apple WWDC 2017 and get the attendance ticket

Tickets to the WWDC 2017 are up for grabs, but only for members of the Apple Developer Program or the Apple Developer Enterprise Program. Registration for membership will be open on March 27, and the chance to buy tickets to the event will be given to randomly selected members. If selected, a fee of $1,599 will be automatically charged to your credit/debit card associated with your Apple ID.

Apple shared a snippet of what to expect at the WWDC 2017 event in San Jose. In a press statement, Apple writes in part: “The conference, kicking off June 5, will inspire developers from all walks of life to turn their passions into the next great innovations and apps that customers use every day across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Mac.”

By holding this year WWDC conference in San Jose, which is closer to Apple headquarters in Cupertino. Many Apple engineers are expected will be able to attend the conference, so attendees can look forward to interacting with plenty of engineers walking for the big tech company.

How you can watch the Apple WWDC 2017 Live

For many, chances of getting a ticket to attend the WWDC 2017 are pretty slim; not that I am trying killing your hopes. However, it would be a smart thing to have a fallback plan, in case you will not be among the lucky few will be get selected to purchase the tickets.

Just all WWDC conference held previously, Apple will also live-stream through its website and on the WWDC apps available for iPhone, iPad and on Apple TV.
