Ever Wanted To Take Back A Text Sent? Strings Lets You Un-Text Someone

The festive season has finally passed, and people are either back to their normal daily routines or are preparing for it come Monday next week. But the problem with December holiday seasons is that it makes you feel unusually happy compared to the rest of the year. You go out with friends, perhaps take one too many, and the next thing you know; you are drunk-texting someone.

Next morning you wake up only to realize you made a complete fool of yourself. Especially if the text sent was not received well by the recipient; woe unto you if it was your boss as this would mean that at the top of your new year’s resolutions list would be to find a new job. Inappropriate texts to your boss could end up with you losing your job. But that is just one example, am sure you can think of many; scenarios where you would wish to un-text someone.

Be that as it may, no need of crying over spilt milk, you just have to face the consequences with your head up high. But there is always that chance that the recipient hasn’t checked their inbox yet, and this is where Strings Messaging App can come to your rescue. This app allows you to erase already sent messages in the recipient’s inbox, whether or not they have read the message.

However, for the app to come to your rescue, both you as the sender and the receiver must have the Strings app installed in your phones. Then it will allow either of you to take back text or images shared between you two.

At this point, you might be telling yourself; there are other apps like Snapchat and Cyber Dust that allows you to send disappearing messages. Well, that’s highly appreciated, but they only work on text messages, but Strings has taken it a notch higher by enabling you do this on not only just text and photos messages but also emails and unlimited length videos.

The developers of Strings have also vouched that all of the contents sent will be deleted from the recipient’s phone and the Strings serves. The action will be “immediately and permanently.”
