How to Change iPhone Keyboard Language and Send Texts in Multiple Languages

Multilingual text messaging in iPhone is a real nifty feature, which helps users who want to send text messages in multiple languages, like Chinese, Spanish, French, Arabic, Urdu and other famous languages. You can quickly change the language of your iPhone keyboard and send text messages to your friends and family in a vast variety of languages. Let’s see how to switch between different languages in an iPhone keyboard.

Change iPhone, iOS Keyboard Language

There are two options to send text messages in multiple languages in iPhone. The first is the archaic one, which needs the complete OS language change throughout the iPhone. This clearly is useless as the new iOS keyboard features let you just enable the multiple languages within a single tap and you don’t need to change the iOS language.

Launch Settings app in your iPhone. Head over to General tab and tap “Keyboard”.

Tap Keyboards and tap “Add New Keyboard”. Now from the list of available languages, choose any language keyboard you want to add in the iOS keyboard.

You can also add exciting new emoji keyboards by installing the third party apps and they will appear in this list.

After adding the necessary keyboard in iOS, it’s now time to see how to switch between different languages in iOS keyboard.

Just text messaging app or any other place to type anything.

Tap on the “Globe” icon as shown in the image below. You will see a list of different languages and emoji keyboards, depending upon whether you have added them or not.

Just tap the required language, the keyboard language will instantly be changed to this language and you can start typing messages.
