LG beats the #AppleEvent on the launch of Dual Camera; the LG V20 with Android Nougat

As the fruit company was preparing to drop its next big thing – iPhone 7 – LG has already beat it to the race of launching a smartphone with dual camera. The LG V20 comes with dual camera and running Google’s latest mobile operating system, Android Nougat (Android 7).

That brings the question: between iOS 10 and Android Nougat, which is best? Click here, to find out.

The LG V20 is a first, both in terms of the first smartphone to run Android Nougat out of the box, and the first to come with dual camera. Well, even if it was launched just hours before the iPhone 7, but still a fact is a fact! Nonetheless, the dual camera on both the LG V20 and iPhone 7 will be a treat to the photo-centric users (pause and take a selfie).

Though, it is not the first smartphone to run Nougat, all eligible Android devices can upgrade; and some already did upgrade. Other than clearer pictures and enjoying the Nougat’s features, LG says users will also get higher-quality audio playback and recording. The LG spokesperson, Frank Lee describes the phone as a ‘storyteller’.

Like its predecessor, the LG G5, the V20 also comes with two lenses in the rear camera. One for taking regular snaps, and the other one for wide angle capture mode snaps. So as you watch the iPhone 7 launch live, and wonder if your wallet will allow you to buy this latest offering by Apple. Remember the LG G5 will probably be cheaper compared to the iPhone 7, but it has the same dual camera and runs on the latest mobile operating system from Google.

So it will fall down to whether or not you prefer Android to iOS or the other way round.
