Live Broadcasts on Twitter will now appear at the top of your Timeline

Twitter has made some small changes on how things will appear on your timeline. Going forward, live streams and broadcasts for the accounts you follow will appear at the top of your timeline. These changes will make it easier for you to follow the accounts you are following in real-time. As opposed to you having to filter through all the feeds on your timeline just to see the activities of the accounts you really want to see.

The feature is already available in the official app for both Android and iOS, updated this week. That in addition to the audio-only live broadcasts, which will run alongside its sister broadcast service Periscope.

At this point, it is interesting to note that last month, Twitter discontinues its mobile app for iOS 9 and earlier versions. According to official stats released by Apple, the number of users using iOS 9 and earlier versions make up just five percent of the iPhone and iPad market.
