The season of new smartphones, gadgets, tablets and software releases is upon us. Apple has already revealed its sensational devices. It’s now Microsoft’s turn to steal the show. The Redmond giant has started rolling out media invites for its mega event taking place in New York next month. While the event doesn’t explicitly talk about any new device release, a number of insiders have shared the news with media outlets that Microsoft will announce new Windows 10 mobile devices, and Surface Pro 4 tablet and a new Health band.
Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are the two Windows 10 powered devices which are expected to be officially revealed at the event. Microsoft has been flattened by Apple, Samsung and other players. It has almost failed to garner any pronounced marketplace. The release of new devices is another try by the company to make a late but strong entry in the saturated market. The much awaited Surface Pro 4 we all have been waiting for is slated to be launched at the upcoming event. The event is going to be hardware focused. The sources also say that Microsoft is going to launch its new health band “Microsoft Band”. The media invite also has a lot of pointers for exciting Windows 10 devices.
The expectation of new devices by Microsoft is being felt strongly by thousands of users, since it’s been a while since the company launched its new devices. The recent IFA event at Berlin was a disappointment and ended without any product announcement. With Apple and Samsung taking things by storm, we can safely say that Microsoft is now just days away from its fresh product announcements.
Surface Pro 4 will be the event hero. A new processor, tweak up hardware and Windows 10 software, apps are expected.
