One of Kenya’s leading acceleration and incubation hub, iHub has announced it has completed setting up Phase I of its new co-working place. Additionally, the new co-working space in now open to the public.

iHub relocated from its previous location citing the need for bigger space to accommodate the growing number of users for the space. They moved earlier this year with plans of reaching and serving a bigger community of users at their space.

iHub’s new home is bigger with spacious office compared to the previous premise. It also has bigger parking spaces and improved amenities such as food and entertainment spots. Ever since they moved, iHub has been working hard and fast to get their new location up and running. With the announcement of the completion of Phase I – the co-working space – users can now continue enjoying the space, connect with each other, innovate together, exchange opportunities and “allow for serendipity to happen.”

Phase I completion also includes an event space, where already, several few events are said to have been hosted there. The space will also be the venue for Africa’s first Open Cellular workshop.

Phase II of the construction is expected to be complete in few weeks, with Phase III and IV coming up shortly after that. When fully complete, iHub will harbor a full building outfit complete with small and large private offices, meeting rooms, lounge, and phone booths.
