In the last few months, the number of Redditors has surpassed the number of Tweeps as new reports by various third parties reveals starts showing Reddit getting more traffic and user engagement than Twitter.
Reddit’s own data show the average monthly actives users hitting 330 million as at April 2018, up from 250 million in November 2017. That is a 30% increase under six months! The site is also ranked position 11 in world ranking of the most visited social media sites.
Come to data by Alexa, the global website ranking site, shows Reddit as the sixth most-visited site in the world.
Reddit is more engaging than porn!?
Alexa’s data go further to reveal that Redditors spend on average 15 minutes and 47 seconds on Reddit.com per day. While on Facebook, users spend an average of 11 minutes and on Twitter just 6 minutes 23 seconds. Though those time estimates are based purely on the time users spend on the website, and doesn’t mention how much time they spend on the mobile apps.
