Rockstart’s Digital Health Accelerator program inviting Startups in Africa to apply

Calling out to all startups in Africa, Rockstart, a startup accelerator program, popularly referred to as ‘The Global Startup Machine’ is receiving applications for its African digital health startup competition.

The competition is under Rockstart’s Digital Health Accelerator program, which provides promising startups with the needed tools, network, and stewardship to scale their operation. The top 10 startups founders that clinch winning positions in the competition will have the advantage of focusing on their product design, market fit, and business model. They will also have direct access to patients and professionals among other stakeholders who could benefit from their products.

Not forgetting, the top 10 startups will get €20,000 cash investment and €75,000 in services. They will also haves access to deals worth €565,000, and in exchange, they will give up 8% of their equity.

How To Apply?

The application to the Rockstart’s Digital Health Accelerator program is open until August 21st, 2016. Click here to apply.

This accelerator program is known as Europe’s best connected Digital Health Accelerator. The inaugural program took place back in 2012, and to date, up to 68 digital health startups have gone through it.

The startups that have gone through this program came from across 30 different countries and said to have created over 500 jobs, with 78% getting follow-up funding to the tune of over €33 million.
