Samsung Galaxy S9 will borrow iPhone X’s probably most silly feature

by Felix Omondi

We established yesterday that Samsung will grace Sam-fans with yet another flagship device in about a month’s time; the Samsung Galaxy S9. Though it has been about three months now since its arch-rival Apple launched three flagship devices, the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus.

It would be fair to say that Apple’s most recently launched devices are still hot in the market, especially the iPhone X. It continues to get positive reviews from tech analysts and positive feedback from users.

The iPhone X popularity still riding high makes for all the wrong market conditions for Samsung to launch its flagship devices; the iPhones are still hot in the market. If Samsung is going to be hot, it needs to extinguish some of that flames iPhones 8, 8 Plus, and X are currently hitting the market with. According to Evan Blass (@evleaks), Samsung will borrow some of iPhone X most touted (and probably most useless) feature; the animojis.

That is right! Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ might come with their own version of animojis. In iPhone X, Apple’s Kinect-like FaceiD scanner matches your facial expressions with an animated character. Like these poop down here.samsung galaxy s9

The animojis make for a great show off of your new $1,000 smartphone, but the fact that they are almost nonexistent on social media only means that they are just hot air. No one really uses them that much once the excitement of a new phone dies out.

So Galaxy S9 will be the first device to usher Android users into the world of animoji and they can start making talking poops all over the internet. And it won’t take long from now, as the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will launch Feb 25th, 2018 at the #Unpacked event in MWC 2018, Barcelona. Then you [Android users] can go ahead and makes animoji karaoke like these:
