The internationally acclaimed accelerator program, Techstars Atlanta will be in Lagos, Nigeria looking for the next cohort of startups. Techstars Atlanta is an arm of a larger international acceleration program Techstars.

Techstars Atlanta will pitch a tent at one of Nigeria’s leading co-working space, Cranium One, where they will be on the lookout for the most promising startups. Startups that will join their acceleration program aimed at helping them scale their production, impact, and outreach in the market.

Startups in Nigeria interested in taking a shot at the opportunity of participating in Techstars Atlanta acceleration program can do so by first booking themselves a seat at the networking event slated to take place on March 1st. About Techstars Atlanta

It was launched last year. It is 3-month intensive acceleration program where the participants are given mentorship and guidance from seasoned entrepreneurs, F500 execs, Coz employees and experts in the subject matter.

The participants will also get support from Techstars’ international network of over 7,000 founders, investors, and mentors among other corporate partners. All startups selected to participate in this program will walk home with $120k each, in exchange for a 6-10% stake in their company.

For the year 2017, the program is looking to take in 10 startups, who on top of acceleration, mentoring, funding, and exposure to Techstars’ network. They will get an office space to set up their business.

The program will run from July 17t to October 12, with the climax being a Demo Day that will have more than 1,000 angel investors and VCs in attendance. The Demo Day will be on October 10th 2017.
