Don’t have the Update?

Like for PC, the Anniversary Update is rolling out in waves. The first wave usually starts with North America among other countries. If you still haven’t gotten the update, it could be your region is yet to be included in the waves.

Microsoft post on its site reads in part, “availability may vary by manufacturer, model, country or region, mobile operator or service provider, hardware limitation and other factors.”

How to check for availability

Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Update & Security’ > ‘Phone Update’ > ‘Check for Updates’. The update is 950MB, so you might want to ensure you got a stable and reliable internet connection before initiating the update process. The Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update is build number 10.0.14393.67.

Sooner or later the update will be available to every Windows mobile user around the world. So if it is not available in your regions, give it few days or weeks to roll out to you.
