Today is the D-Day for startups in Kenya wishing to be crowned the winner of the Seedstars Nairobi Award. Competition by Seedstars World, an international competition for early stage startups. The winner will represent Kenya at the global finalist stage of the competition set to take place in Switzerland.

Flexpay Technologies: A platform for receiving and managing flexible and affordable piecemeal payments for commodities.
iNuka Pap Ltd: A FinTech startup providing a mobile-based solution where users can access free medical insurance through savings and borrowing loans.
Kuza: An online portal where farmers can get on-demand courses on farming, farm support, and services. All content provided by professionals and helps newbie farmers carry out farming professionally.
Lakt Co: Merging financial education and financial services via a mobile app with integrated blockchain.
Mobilized Construction: This startup provides an innovative means for de-mechanizing road maintenance by using local labor to build dirt roads that are climate resilient manually.
Olivine Technology: A hybrid cloud computing app and synching technology for SME manufacturers looking to create a network that will enable them better handle their distribution and retail operations.
OptiSmart Solutions: A mobile app looking to solve insurance fraud through integrated web and mobile platform to facilitate real-time claims authorization.
Student Finance Africa (SFA): Giving students seeking higher education affordable tuition loans.
Ujuzi Software Solutions Ltd: Providing AML solutions to industries such as banks, forex bureaus, and remittance services providers. One of the things their solutions provide is anti-money laundering services.
