32-bit Chrome browser will automatically migrate to 64 on 64-bit Windows

Funny thing, there are people with 64-bit version of Windows on their PC but still, have the 32-bit version of Chrome browser. Despite the fact that the 64-bit version of Google Chrome has been around for awhile now, but it has remained at the user’s discretion to upgrade from 32-bit.

That was until Google decided that they will make that choice for you. If you are running 64-bit Windows, your 32-bit Chrome will automatically migrate to the 64-bit version.

Don’t be alarmed, this ‘forceful’ migration from 32-bit to 64-bit is probably the best thing for you.
