6 Celebrities Who Also Have Interesting Side Businesses

If you don’t have a side business in a world where starting a business (especially an online business) is easy and profitable (most of the times), you are really behind the race. Celebrities have loads of cash, right? Yet they are big fans of side businesses.  Following are some of the famous celebrities who have a side business.

George Clooney

George Clooney recently made headlines when the UK-based drinks company Diageo announced that it was acquiring Clooney’s tequila company for a whopping $1 billion. Clooney started tequila company Casamigos Tequila when he and his friend Rande Gerber were in Mexico, building their vacation homes. As one would expect, Clooney and his friend were drinking a lot of tequilas during their stay. But they weren’t satisfied with the taste, and the hangovers they were getting. Clooney decided to make tequila of his own. They found a distiller and explained to him their dream tequila drink. So started the great Clooney business.

American rapper Sean John Combs, also known as Puff Daddy or P. Diddy, has a passion for starting new businesses. In 2002, Fortune magazine listed Combs at number twelve in its top 40 under 40 entrepreneurs list. In 1998, Combs launched a clothing line with the name of Sean John. Combs also started two restaurants in New York and Atlanta, but they were later closed. In 2008, P.Diddy acquired Enyce clothing line for a whopping $20 million in 2008. He also bought a stake in Revolt TV.
