These 5 Music Apps Gives You Offline Listening In Addition To Streaming

The great thing about streaming music is that you never have to worry about storage space being full on your device since you never store anything on your device. And that is what you get from most music streaming apps; the ability to listen to your favorite jams whenever you want. Well, as long as you have internet access.

Some music apps allow you to store music on your device that you can listen to even when you are offline. There is some limitation as to the amount of music you can keep stored offline, but still, it is better than not having to listen to your favorite music just because you lack internet access.

For a monthly fee of $9.99, Spotify Premium offers you an ad-free music streaming, better sound quality and the option to save some of the music for offline listening.

Pandora gives you the ‘Offline Listening’ option only to Pandora Plus subscribers. A feature that is only available on mobile phones and not on tablets or iPads. However, you will not get access to all your stations. Pandora will instead, give you the option of downloading up to three of your most-listened stations.

A must have app for hip-hop fans. Spinrilla gives you thousands of hip-hop mixtapes from their favorite artists and DJs with Spinrilla. This app is available for iOS

and Android devices. You can download some mixtapes for offline listening. Spinrilla Pro is also available for an additional monthly subscription.

Google Play Music

The free version of Google Play Music app gives users in the U.S. and Canada access to radio stations based on songs they listen to, offers recommendations based on users music tastes. The app can stream up to 50,000 songs from a user’s personal music collection. Upon subscription, users can store some music for offline listening and remove ads.

Evermusic lets you aggregate music from different locations like Dropbox, OneDrive, and Google Drive and customize your playlist. It has the added advantage of allowing you to download some songs, playlists, and albums for offline playback; something that can come in useful when you have no internet access. This app is only available for iOS devices only.
