During Seedstars World inaugural opening of its newest hub for MENA regions in Cairo, Egypt, during which the Seedstars Egypt pitch competition took place. The on-demand home nursing service 7keema won the Egypt round of the global stage startup competition.
“When our name was announced as the first winner, our hearts tended to jump out. This step comes to us on the right timing while we are opening a short round of funding, and we are within the negotiations with angel investors and accelerator programs,” said Amr Bakr, the CEO of 7keema.
“Now we feel very comfortable and relaxed and are sure 100% we will get the best valuation for our startup.”
That means 7keema has just booked themselves a slot at next year’s Seedstars Summit in Switzerland where a $1million equity funding is up for grabs. The April 2019 Seedstars Summit Switzerland will bring together a total of 65 winners from semi-finals leg of the competition around the world. The startup will get a world-stage platform to pitch before potential investors, mentors, and business partners from around the globe.
The final day of the competition during the finals will be a pitch event before an audience of over 1,000 attendees.
The Seedstars Egypt competition was the first of many Seedstars World competitions that will be held across the globe to select finalists who will go head-to-head at the world stage of the competition in Switzerland next year.
