June 14, 2018, Samsung made a follow up of the Chromebook Plus by releasing the new Samsung Chromebook Plus v2 running on an Intel Celeron chip.
To be precise, the Chromebook is powered by the Intel Celeron 3965Y chip, backed by 4GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. The laptop also comes with a rear- and front-cameras. On this laptop, Samsung has explored away from the usual Plus’ ARM chip, even though the first Chromebook Pro runs on the Intel Core M3).
The new Chromebook Plus v.2. you get a the bigger 16:10 aspect ratio. The earlier model gives you a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 2400×1600 resolution, (not anywhere near a bad resolution). Other than the above mentioned features, the new Samsung Chromebook Plus v.2 is quite similar to the previous model.
They both comes with a stylus pen and two USB Type-C, and a microSD card readers
