Africa starts the countdown to IFAT Africa 2021

Africa starts the countdown to IFAT Africa 2021

The continent’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, refuse and recycling, IFAT Africa, will get underway in Johannesburg in a year’s time, and organizers, exhibitors, and thought leaders are hard at work fine-tuning a program that will inform development across the sector, across the continent.

IFAT Africa, to be staged AT Gallagher Convention Centre for July 13 – 15, 2021, brings together thousands of African stakeholders from across these overlapping sectors to discuss challenges, solutions, and business opportunities in the crucial water, sewage, refuse and recycling industries.

Paving the way for IFAT Africa 2021 and its high-level industry discussion forum, this week sees the start of the global IFAT Impact webinar series. This new knowledge platform, to be attended by industry stakeholders across the globe will offer knowledge transfer throughout the year—initiated by the coronavirus crisis and the associated economic and ecological consequences. The first IFAT Impact webinar, focusing on ‘Environmental technologies in times of the coronavirus—and beyond: accelerators for an ecologically sustainable economy’, will be held on July 15, 2020, 10:00–12:00 (CET).
