Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. It has served as the proving ground for innovators and breakthrough technologies for almost 50 years.

The global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace. As the largest hands-on event of its kind, CES features all aspects of the industry. And because it is owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)TM, the technology trade association representing the $287 billion U.S. consumer technology industry, it attracts the world’s business leaders and pioneering thinkers to a forum where the industry’s most relevant issues are addressed.

Eureka Park is the flagship startup destination at CES, providing a unique opportunity to launch a new product, service or idea. For the first time since its creation 6 years ago, Eureka Park will be hosting Africa Tech Now Village.

A premium event showcasing the finest Digital Technology in Africa and highlighting the innovation skills as well as the creativity of African startups. It is believed that Africa is heading to become the most dynamic continent of the world. Technology will play a key role in driving Africa’s economic growth.

Start-up willing to exhibit on Africa Tech Now Village are invited to participate to the contest. Online submission starts on July 18th, 2016 and ends on August 31st, 2016. VC4Africa platform.

The winners will be determined by the vote of an international panel of technology experts. Results will be announced during the last week of September.

The 10 lucky winners will be offered the opportunity to showcase their talent and innovative product, service or idea at CES 2017. All expenses including transportation, accommodation, and Visa’s fees will be covered. They will benefit from a series of training, workshop and webinar to be well prepared and get the most of the show business opportunities.

They will be invited to attend special events during CES which allow them to connect and network with investors, potential clients and technology partners, distributors, etc. Moreover, they will be the center-stage of over 7,000 media from all over the world covering the event.

If you are an early or mid-stage startup, Eureka Park at CES 2017 may be the place for you. To qualify you have to fulfil the following criteria:

Date of creation over 6 months and less than 3 years.

Product and service must show a ground breaking innovation, preferably addressing the consumer market.

Fields covered are those represented at CES marketplaces. Mainly: Robotics, Drones, 3D Printing, Education Technology, Agri-tech, App Economy, e-Health, e-Commerce, Internet of Things etc.
