Africa Tech Pitch LDN: A spotlight on Africa-focused Startups in the UK

Africa Tech Pitch LDN is an evening pitch event aimed at showcasing high-potential, high-impact technology startups addressing a need in the African market.

It provides a platform for Africa-focused startups their solutions to our panel and an audience of entrepreneurs, investors, technologists and media in order to get valuable feedback and build connections to help them move their ideas forward.

The first edition in April featured startups from the UK, Rwanda, US and France.

This second edition is the culmination of our 8-week i4DAfrica Startup Accelerator Lab. Run by the Africa Technology Business Network, i4DAfrica is an early stage training, mentorship and support network for UK entrepreneurs developing technology-driven solutions that address a need in the African market.

A platform that aims to improve pricing transparency and increase access to markets for skilled tradesmen and women Nigeria by connecting them to customers and clients.

VisioRecruit

VisioRecruit is a video-enabled recruitment platform that enables recruiters in Africa to remotely interview and assess applicants, allowing them to more cost-effectively access skilled talent in the diaspora.

OKIKI App

OKIKI is a movie streaming app with a social twist. The app creates a unique movie experience by connecting movie fans to each other and to their favourite actors, while providing a secure channel for local African film makers to generate revenue.

Bahati Books

Bahati Books is an e-book publishing company that aims to bring to global readers captivating and well-written African literature by African authors.

MedTechDoctors

MedTechDoctors is a network for a new generation of doctors who are pushing the boundaries of medical technology innovation to impact healthcare in Africa.
