Application open to AWITGhana Pitch Competition at Impact Hub Accra for Female Tech Startups

With barely a month to the kickoff of Part II of the African Women in Tech (AWIT) conference in Accra, Ghana. Preparations are drawing to finalization, and now female startups with prototype technology solutions that they would like showcase before an audience of professional and accomplished women are invited to apply for the AWITGhana Pitch Competition.

The AWITGhana Pitch Competition is inviting tech startups founded or co-founded by a woman within the past two years and is in its early stages of development/launch. Take this chance, to showcase your innovative tech solutions, if you impress the judges, you will walk home with a cash reward, and network links to opportunities such as mentorship, incubation, and venture capitalist’s interest.

When & Where

The AWITGhana Pitch Competition will take place on December 16th -17th 2016 at the Impact Hub Accra. Address; Otswe Street, Osu Ako Adjei, in Accra, Ghana.

How to Apply

If you have met that minimum applications requirement; a tech startup founded or co-founded by a woman in not more than two years ago, then you can apply online here.

Application Deadline is December 5th, 2016

Successful applicants will be contacted for further instructions how to make their presentation for not more than 2 minutes long. The presentations will be hard stopped at exactly 2 minutes. The presentation will be followed by a 3 minute Q&A session with the judges.
