Afro Business Exposition 2015

Afro Business Exposition 2015

The Afro Business Exposition (ABE) is an annual event that brings African SMEs to the United Kingdom to expand their horizons and meet potential partners and international investors.  SMEs are a viable foundation to ensure that the African economic renaissance is sustainable.

Therefore, the Afro Business Exposition invites established SMEs to engage with UK investors and partners who share this vision by exhibiting in the Expo.

For businesses who know their vested interests lie in international trade, this is the platform for you.

Alok Sharma, MP for Reading West said: “I am pleased to be attending the Afro Business Exposition to speak about the growing business opportunities that Africa has to offer and how local businesses can benefit from exporting. Being home to some of the fastest growing economies in the world, Africa is too often overlooked as a destination for UK businesses and I hope this event will lead to some successful future endeavours for local companies.”

The ABE is not a talk shop. 30 exhibitors, over 450 delegates, the Expo 2014 resulted in over $500M worth of investments in energy and agriculture.

Ngozi Fakeye, Program Director of Afro Business Expo says: “Africa has vast opportunities, from our arable lands to the bourgeoning well educated population; We are poised to shed the image of war and strife to shine as a beacon of economic renaissance.

We intend to work with our Western partners as equals in an economic development drive that is equitable and sustainable. What we require is the technological expertise, the scrutiny of governance and the support of the experienced diaspora community to facilitate this drive’’

The Afro Business expo is a bridge that gives SMEs direct access to an international market and opens a world of funding and support.

Toyin Okpaise, General Manager, Advertising, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, “ FAAN participated in the 2014 expo with a high powered delegation. I was really impressed to see the calibre of people at this event and the eventual impact on majority of the participants in sub-Sahara Africa . FAAN is committed to participating again in 2015 as the Authority supports the international recognition this brings to Nigerian enterprise
