Cellulant wins Payments and Transfers category at the African FinTech Awards

Cellulant, a FinTech company focusing electronic mobile payment solutions has won the Payments and Transfers category at the just concluded Africa FinTech Awards.

Founded by back in 2004 by Ken Njoroge

and Bolaji Akinboro, a Kenyan and Nigerian respectively. Cellulant has grown to become a market leader in digital payment solutions, it empowers consumers across the continent with useful digital tools at the best possible value for money. The company strives at delivering the most connected one-stop mobile e-commerce platform.

The company already has a strong foothold in at least ten countries across the continent. Providing services to over 50 banks, 40 mobile service operators, and more than 100 merchants and 200 businesses. The company can boast of touching the lives of over 40 million people across Africa.
