Tinder is revolutionizing the most important thing in human societies: relationships and love. According to a report by InterActiveCorp, over 10 million matches take place on Tinder every day. Millions of people use Tinder daily. Tinder, as you know, recommends potential partners based on your location. But what if your neighborhood is boring, or there aren’t enough people around your location who you could date. Or simply you want to increase the chance of your matches on Tinder and expand your options. Because let’s face it: we all hate the “ No one is around you” message on Tinder. Well, if you have money, you can change your location on Tinder by simply buying the Tinder Plus version, which is available for about $10 a month. With Tinder Plus, you can change your location and increase your matches. But if you want to change location on Tinder for free, there are some workarounds which I will discuss in this article.
Change Location in Tinder for Free
Location Changer App
If you are an Android user, Fake GPS Go app lets you spoof your location. This app will enable you to change your location device-wide. So Tinder will automatically detect the location to which your phone is set. Just download this app and set your phone location to any place you want.
It’s better to change your phone settings before you use the above-mentioned app. So before applying the above method, do the following steps.
Go to Settings and head over to the “Account” section of your Android phone. Scroll down and you will see an option named “Build Number”. Tap this seven times (or keep tapping until you see a message saying you are a developer). This is the unlock developer access to Android because we want to play with the GPS settings.
Now enable the “Allow Mock Location” option.
Now head over to the Settings app and go to “Location”. Tap on “Mode”. Now change the location mode from “High Accuracy” to “Device Only”.
By Changing Your Facebook Location
Another excellent way to change location on Tinder is to change location on your Facebook account. Why? Because Tinder fetches complete data from your Facebook. Go to the About Section in your Facebook and use “Add a City” option to add a new location. Close Tinder app in your phone and restart it. Hopefully, Tinder will fetch your new location and suggest your potential matches accordingly.
