Day 3 of the E3 countdown, PlayStation announces Twin Mirror for PS4

Yesterday, on day three countdown for PlayStation’s E3 showcase slated for June 11, Sony has unveiled the PS4 and PS VR title Tetris Effect. The company has also announced the release date for the highly anticipated title Days Gone; an epic zombie survival game.

On day three, a new title – Twin Mirror – developed by Bandai Namco and Dontnod who are also behind the Life is Strange and Vampyr titles.

The game Twin Mirror, though a narrative driven game, it makes for a very unique kind of story and character. At the center of the game are mystery, memory loss, and murder. The game is set in Basswood, West Virginia, where you (the gamer) follows the life of Sam. A 33-year-old investigative journalist who has returned to his hometown to attend an old friend’s funeral. He also just recently gone through a breakup.

On one morning, Sam wakes up finding himself inside a motel room with his shorts covered in blood and no recollection of what happened the previous night. That is where you (the gamer) comes in; you have to take Sam through an investigation journey to discover just exactly what happened to him. You will explore Sam’s painful memories and embark on an emotional journey.

Sony is also set to reveal a brand new PS VR title coming out on June 9, followed by a PS VR port on June 10. The D-Day will be on June 11 when PlayStation’s E3 showcase will begin.
