Drogba has recently launched the Drogba & Co. by HOM underwear clothing range. The clothing range retails in Ivory Coast exclusively via www.jumia.ci.  Drogba is a Former Chelsea forward and current Ivory Coast captain in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2014. He is the all-time top goal scorer for Ivory Coast national team.

The Drogba & Co. by HOM clothing range is being produced through a partnership with the underwear brand HOM based in Marseille. The range includes boxers, swimming trunks, tank tops and T-shirts both in plain and multi-coloured print that represents African colours. From every sale made from the clothing range, €1 ($1.36) will be contributed towards the cause of Didier Drogba Foundation.

The Didier Drogba Foundation created back in 2007 aims at providing material and financial support to the less fortunate people living in Africa. So far the foundation can boast of the construction of a large medical clinic in Abidjan and the setting up of various orphanages within Ivory Coast. Drogba through the foundation plans to set up a school in Ivory Coast in the near future.

Back in 2007, the UN appointed him as its Goodwill Ambassador and in 2010 Drogba philanthropic work led to him being named in Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.
