Didier Drogba Launches The Drogba & Co. By HOM Underwear Range In Ivory Coast
The Drogba & Co. by HOM clothing range is being produced through a partnership with the underwear brand HOM based in Marseille. The range includes boxers, swimming trunks, tank tops and T-shirts both in plain and multi-coloured print that represents African colours. From every sale made from the clothing range, €1 ($1.36) will be contributed towards the cause of Didier Drogba Foundation.
The Didier Drogba Foundation created back in 2007 aims at providing material and financial support to the less fortunate people living in Africa. So far the foundation can boast of the construction of a large medical clinic in Abidjan and the setting up of various orphanages within Ivory Coast. Drogba through the foundation plans to set up a school in Ivory Coast in the near future.

Drogba has become a renowned figure internationally, mainly because of his sporting prowess especially during his time at Chelsea FC. Throughout his professional career as a football player, he has remained committed to a noble cause of supporting his native continent. Back in 2007, the UN appointed him as its Goodwill Ambassador and in 2010 Drogba philanthropic work led to him being named in Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.
