Epic Game’s famous Fortnite, a free-to-play shooter, is now available on Android and iOS for players to download on their phones and tablets for a play on the go. It is the biggest game in the world. The success of more than 100 players fighting on the island map has already been seen on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You have to survive against other players till the end. It has a cartoonish style which is easy to downscale on smartphone screens. Fortnite on mobile has the same maps, same gameplay, and same weekly updates.

The players who wish to play Fortnite on mobile are advised to download it directly from the Epic Game’s official website. Here is how you can download and play Fortnite Android mobile and Fortnite iOS mobile.

Download on Android

Fortnite mobile Android is not available on Google Play Store. It is available on Android in a beta version but don’t worry the beta version gives you full gaming experience. The goal of Epic Games is to bring the game directly to its customers. First of all, check if your phone is compatible with Fortnite mobile Android as older phones are not up to the mark for performance standards required for the game. It has some relatively modest requirements. The minimum specs required to play Fortnite mobile Android are a RAM of 3GB or higher, 64-bit Android 5.0 or higher iOS and GPU: Adreno 530 or higher, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher.

For Fortnite mobile Android, go to Fortnite’s official website and click on “Play Free Now”. Now, sign up on the website where you have to input your email. Then, wait for an e-invitation through email. The link in the email will redirect you to the required page to download and play Fortnite on mobile. A choice will be shown to either download it from Epic Games or from Samsung; pick any one of them. It will ask you to enable side-loading on your device. A settings menu will be displayed where you have to enable the setting of allowing your phone to download apps through Chrome. This step is necessary to run Fortnite on mobile Android. The install file will only take storage of 2mb. Finally, you will be able to open Fortnite. The App will download some additional data to set it up for playing.

Download on iOS

Downloading Fortnite on mobile iOS is quite easy. All you need to do is, go to the App Store and search for Fortnite in the search bar. Then, click on the install button. The App’s icon will appear on your home screen and Fortnite mobile iOS will start downloading. It doesn’t support iPhone 5s, 6, 6 Plus; iPad Air, Mini 2, Mini 3, and iPod Touch.
