Features of OS X Yosemite 10.10 Public Beta 3

The beta 3 release offers most of the features that were present in the developer preview 7 of the OS X Yosemite 10.10. Minor adjustments have been made to the icons, a new-look dark mode, and some other tweaks. Overall, beta 3 doesn’t offer significant changes from the previous tester. Apple is focused on the end user release of the product, instead of making substantial changes to the design features of the OS X Yosemite 10.10.

The actual release date of the OS X Yosemite 10.10 is still under the cover. Apple has just given a hint that it will be released in the fall. The desktop software was unveiled in the Worldwide Developers’ conference in June. Its release will narrow the gap between iOS and Mac OS X. The new look of the OS X Yosemite is pretty much similar to that of the Apple’s mobile operating system. The company is trying to make a uniform platform for desktop and mobile devices.

You can download the Public Beta 3 of the OS X Yosemite 10.10 from this link for free of cost if you haven’t yet registered for the beta program.
