e-Commerce Startup Favizone wins Seedstars World Tunis

The winner of Seedstars World’s first challenge in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is the e-commerce startup, Favizone.

The competition took place in Tunisia, seeking to identify a seed stage startup with the most promising product, service, or idea. Seedstars World competition takes place every year across several countries in the MENA region looking for the most promising tech entrepreneurs to pitch at the Global Summit.

The Seedstars World Tunis took place on May 15, 2017 at the Mediterranean School of Business, where nine startups were pitching before an investment panel. After the pitches followed by deliberations by the judges. Favizon emerged the overall winner, followed by WanaGames and Dabchly respective.

Favizon proceeds to the next stage of the competition; to represent Tunisia at the Seedstars Global Summit set to be held in Switzerland in 2018. Favizon will go up head-to-head against similarly promising startups from other world regions for a chance to walk home with $500,000 in equity, investment and additional information.
