The #CleanPowerPlan was announced on Aug. 3, 2015 by President Obama and the EPA. This new plan will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 32 percent from 2005 levels by 2030.
Each state is given its own emissions reduction goal within the plan, and will also be given various options on how to go about doing so.
