Equity In and Through Tech: Moving from Conversation to Implementation

How technology is changing the development landscape

In recognition of Women’s History Month and the 60th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women, this event will highlight the role broadband and technology play in achieving equity, with a focus on municipal and global development goals, as well as the vital role of gender equity within the tech space.

Speakers will share best practices on how broadband and technology can be used to achieve OneNYC: Plan for a Strong and Just City and the global Sustainable Development Goals. There will also be a series of mini TED-Talk presentations by leading experts in the technology field on how tech is being used towards these purposes.
