Event: Executive Women Host Summit About Corporate Climbing

Three successful women, Wonya Lucas, Amy, DuBois Barnett and Carol Fulp, will be speaking at the 2016 Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit, about setting the steps black women need to take to alter the game of internal politics and success.

According to Black Enterprise, Wonya Lucas is the CEO of Public Broadcasting Atlanta, and at one point, was president and CEO of TV ONE and COO of Discovery Channel and Science Channel, Corporate CMO.

Amy DuBois Barnett will be beside Lucas at the Summit. She is a senior media executive, author, and public speaker. Her career in media has been a parade of success and experience. Her positions have ranged from editor-in-chief for Ebony

magazine and managing editor of Teen People, to Lifestyle Editor for Essence magazine and executive editor for ESPN Digital. She will have more than enough to say at the Summit about climbing the ranks.

Giving her tips on sponsorships and mentorships, will be Carol Fulp—President and CEO of The Partnership Inc. Black Enterprise stated that she will be moderating the Going it Solo is a No-Go

session at the Summit, and that sponsorship may be the most critical factor that has crippled qualified women of color.

Fulp has had her share of accomplishments, such as a representative of the United States to the 65th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, and senior vice president of Corporate Responsibility and Brand Initiatives.

These accomplished women will reveal everything they know to the public, and change how women approach politics.

The Summit will take place Mar. 9th-12th, 2016 in Hollywood Florida. To register and read the full article, go to Black Enterprise website.
