Executive Women International (EWI) Scholarship Awards

If you are looking for a scholarship to help you get back in school. Then you will be happy to know that Executive Women International (EWI) is running two scholarships programs; the Adult Students In Scholastic Transition (ASIST) and Executive Women International Scholarship Program (EWISP). The EWI Chapters taking part in these programs will determine the deadlines, eligible schools, areas of limitations and the partner agencies.

All scholarship applicants must first apply to the local Chapters before they become eligible for the EWI Corporate Awards within these programs. Applicants are advised to locate their respective Chapter LINK near their location and contact the Chapter in order to get more information on the scholarships being offered. More details about the ASIST and EWISP scholarships are provided below:

ASIST Scholarship

This scholarship is meant for adults facing economic, social or physical challenges who want to improve their current situation using the educational opportunities available. The identification of potential candidates will be completed by the Local Chapter in collaboration with educational providers and social services agencies. The applicants will first apply and compete against each other at the local Chapter level. The winners that emerge at this stage will submit their applications to the Corporate level for a chance to win one of the 13 scholarships worth between $2,000 to $10,000.

EWISP Scholarship

This is an annual program where applicants compete to get a scholarship award worth more than $200,000 in college tuition to qualifying high school seniors. Participating students will be nominated by their respective schools for the scholarship competition. The judges to determine which students deserve the award will rule based on the students’ scholastic achievements, leadership qualities, extracurricular activities and good citizenship.

High school seniors must first apply for the EWISP and then compete against each other at the local Chapter level where they stand to win varying award levels. The winners for the Chapter level will advance to the next stage of the competition of Corporate level, where they will stand a chance to win one of the many scholarship programs. The scholarship awards will range between $1,000 to $5,000.
