Facebook in-talks with Satellite Operator to avail free internet (Internet.org) in Africa

Facebook has been aggressive in the quest of providing free internet access across Africa by partnering with telecoms on the continent. The initiative dubbed Internet.org
has received a rather cool reception by telecom operator, thus forcing Facebook to seek alternative by now partnering with satellite operator Avanti
, a UK-based satellite operator.

Facebook is said to be currently in advanced talks with Avanti. Although both of the companies have not made any public announcement or comments on the matter, it is said that the deal will be announced soon.
