The Fallout Shelter game will be an Xbox Play Anywhere game. Meaning you will be able to play it on your Windows 10 PC and Xbox One console; your progress in the game will be saved and synced across the devices automatically.

So if for some reason you cannot access your PC, you can just go to your Xbox One and boot up Fallout Shelter and pick up right where you left playing the game on your computer. The achievements you had unlocked while on your PC will be carried over to your Xbox Live profile when you are playing on your gaming console.

To bring Fallout Shelter to Windows 10 and Xbox One, Bethesda and Microsoft had to work together to ensure everything will run smooth. It is important to note that gamers have been able to play the game on PC since summer of 2016 when Bethesda launched the Fallout Shelter launcher for PC. The Fallout Shelter launcher gave gamers a port version of the mobile game. The game was an instant hit when it was released in 2015, working its way up the app top charts.
