As the year comes to an end, we count our numerous blessings that we have received this year; family, friends, health, finances e.t.c This Christmas season, Nigeria will experience its first Santa Dash, where people across various cities wear the Santa shirts and hats to run or walk a 5KM route this Christmas season.
Truppr, a social startup where fitness enthusiasts can set up or discover fitness events or partners is hosting the Santa Dash 5K next month. Participants are expected to register and order their shirt sizes and hats on Truppr (ww2.truppr.com/santadash) for #1,500 and donate a minimum of #1,500 on the day of the event.
Truppr ambassadors across various cities will get to pick a charity organisation of their choice and donate proceeds from the fitness event to the charity organisation looking after the kids. Companies also get to sponsor their employees to this fun fitness event as a way of giving back to the society and team bonding amongst the employees.Santa Dash will take place on the 19th of December across 8 cities in Nigeria. The initiative is to put a smile on the faces of homeless children this season.
