Fix No Video Only Audio Netflix

You can relish unlimited viewing of your favorite content without the interruption of a single advertisement. Unluckily, Netflix users on Android are facing the issue of no video and only audio being streamed while they play any content. A black screen appears with no sound. Thus, here is how to fix no video only audio on Netflix.

Clear Cache

To fix no video only audio on Netflix on Android phone, clear your phone’s cache. Go to your phone’s Settings and then go to Applications. Under the Application tab, go to Application Manager and tap on Netflix App to clear its cache. Upon confirmation, tap on yes to clear cached data. Then, force stop the Netflix App.

Color Correction

Color correction is the option for users to change display mode based on the different kinds of color blindness. Color correction is not compatible with Netflix. To fix no video only audio on Netflix, turn off color correction. To turn off the color correction, go to your phone’s Settings and then go to Accessibility. Under the Accessibility tab, toggle off color correction.

Display Setting

Try to change your screen resolution to fix no video only audio on Netflix. Change the screen resolution from WQHD+ to FHD+. To change the screen resolution, go to your phone’s Settings and then go to Display. Under the Display tab, change the screen resolution and click on Apply to apply changes. Another solution you can try in display setting is to turn off the Aspect Ratio.

Play Another TV Show or Movie

Try to play another TV show or movie, if the issue doesn’t exist in another TV show or movie, go to Viewing Activity page and click on Report a Problem link next to the title that did not work properly i.e. there was no video only audio.

Restart Phone

Another solution you can try to fix no video only audio on Netflix on an Android phone is to restart your Android phone. Turn off your phone and then turn it on again. After turning it on, don’t use it for 20 seconds. Once the phone is all set, try Netflix App again.

Software Update

Make sure your Android phone has the latest software version installed for Netflix to work on it properly. Go to your phone’s Settings and then go to System. Under the System tab, click on Advanced. Then, click on the software update. Once, the latest updates have been downloaded, try Netflix again.

Contact Device Manufacturer

If all the above-stated solutions don’t fix no video only audio on Netflix, contact your device manufacturer. There are chances that your device is facing hardware or software problem which only the device manufacturer can solve.
