Almost all of us spend hours on YouTube daily. But a lot of people who watch YouTube videos in their Chrome browser are facing a problem which has made their video-watching experience extremely pathetic. The problem is that YouTube video pauses when you switch tab in Chrome. For example, I love to play YouTube videos in the background while I surf Reddit or Twitter. But I lose my mind when YouTube video pauses after I switch tab to some other website. Fortunately, there are some ways to fix YouTube video pausing when tab switched.
YouTube Videos Keep Pausing When I Switch Tab in Chrome
Open Google Chrome and type the following in the address bar and hit enter:
chrome://flags
You will see an option named pause-background-tabs here. Make sure this option is set to “Disabled”. This option will prevent from YouTube videos from pausing even when you switch to another tab.
