According to a report by TechCrunch, Uber has been receiving a lot of heat lately for the management malpractices and company culture. Just recently, the company had to lay off some 20 workers over allegations of sexual harassment.
Perhaps in a move to save face, Uber has poached one of Apple’s marketing executive, Bozoma Saint John, who now becomes its Chief Brand Officer.

Saint John is one of Silicon Valley’s top black female executives. She was born in Ghana before relocating to the US in her teen years. One of the most notable times Saint John had at Apple was during her presentation at the 2016 annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference.
