Google gives the strongest hint yet on Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Release Date

It would be safe to say that all flagship smartphones that were to be released this year have been released except for Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. They are the only remaining biggest smartphones that anticipated for this year.

Samsung has already released their Galaxy S8/ S8+, and the Galaxy Note 8. Apple released three phones, iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus early this week. The next big thing is Google, and the search engine giant has just ‘confirmed’ the date when they will release their flagship smartphones for the year 2017.

Google, not the type to follow cliché or be predictable, is being flirtatious with the release date announcement, but if you read the lines in between the flirtiness, the date is pretty obvious. Google started with a triple push synchronized “announcement:

Ø Online ads

Ø Billboard ads

Ø A new site imploring users to “Ask more of your phone” on the October 4th.

If that is not a hint enough for you, then continue reading on! In addition to the triple push, Google further sent out press invites to various tech news outlets. The invite is inviting editors to a Pixel 2 themed event slated for (guess what?) October 4th.

Last but not least! Ask yourself, when were the first Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones released? That’s right, October 4th, 2016. That confirms two things; that October 4th is indeed the release date for the next generation of Pixel phones, and secondly, Google is obsessed with numbers.
