Hellofood Acquires Brazilian Competitor Entrega Delivery
This deal spells the further strengthening of Hellofood’s presence in Brazilian food delivery industry. Currently, Hellofood has more than 2,000 restaurants registered to its database across 30 cities in Brazil.
However, with the acquisition of Entrega Delivery by Hellofood, the former is said to continue operations under its brand name. Entrega Delivery began operations in Brazil back in 2010 and has presence in Belo Horizonte and Campinas with over 400 restaurants partnerships.
Eduardo Penna, Founder and CEO of Entrega Delivery, said, “We have worked very hard during the last three years, developing strategic alliances with the main players in the local food industry and building trust among our customers. That together with our working ethics and culture, helped us to become the leader of online food delivery in Campinas. On the other hand, Hellofood began operations in Brazil in mid 2013. But globally it can boast of a presence in over 40 countries across Europe, Asia, Middle East, Latin America and Africa.
