How to Disable/Enable Notification in Chrome browser

You know those little pop up boxes on the bottom left corner of your Chrome browser? Do they get on your nerve?

Well, you sign up for them by click allow notification from the individual websites that keeps pestering you with notification. However, if you’ve grown sick and tired of them, you can just as easily get rid of them as you signed up for them.

How to Disable the Notifications in Chrome

You might have to dig through the Chrome browser settings to disable them entirely. Go to Settings by clicking down on the three dots on the top-right corner of the browser.

Next, click on Advanced.

Click on Content settings

Click on Notifications

You can block all notifications (from all sites) by sliding the slider to off position.

However, if you would like to keep notification for some sites, while disabling others. Keep the slider above in on position, then go to each individual site with notification, and the start turning it off for all the sites you don’t want to receive notifications from.

You can keep notification on for the sites you want to receive notifications from.
