Hide Apps

Go to your phone’s Settings and then go to Applications. Under the Applications tab, tap on Application Manager. Next, swipe to the Running or All screen. This option is mostly available for the pre-installed Apps which can’t be deleted.

Samsung My Knox

First of all, tap on the Apps drawer on the bottom right of the screen. Then, tap on Samsung folder and then the Galaxy App folder. At the top right, search ‘Samsung My Knox’ and download it. To download Apps from Galaxy Apps, you need a Samsung account. If you don’t already have an account, create a new one. After the App has downloaded, tap on get started at the bottom right of the screen and then click on allow. Now, tick the box next to agree on terms and conditions and tap on confirmed. Then, click on ‘Add Account’ and add your account by entering your email and click next. You will receive an email with the four-digit pin, enter that pin and click on OK. Now, you are all set to use the App.

A list of Apps will be shown to you, select the Apps you want to hide and click next. It will take about 30 seconds to create the secure workspace. After that choose the unlock method and change the Knox timeout to ‘when the screen turns off.’ Finally, click on set up and you are all done. My Knox App shortcut will be created on your home screen and it will hide the Apps and photos on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. The Knox zone will be separated from your normal account. For example, if a photo is captured using the camera App in Knox zone, the photo will not be visible in the normal gallery. Moreover, the Apps available in the Knox App can be deleted from the normal account, but they will remain hidden in the Knox App.
